Eligibility criteria

1	Biochemistry	ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Biochemistry) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching and research experience, in a recognized Institution in the concerned/allied subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying postgraduate degree of MD
2	Haematology	ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. DM (Haematology) or MD (Pathology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD including 1 year in the Speciality concerned. OR 1 year teaching and research experience after obtaining the qualifying degree of DM in case of 2 years DM course. However, no additional experience is necessary for the candidate possessing the 3 years recognized of DM or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.
3	Internal Medicine	ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Medicine) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching/training and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.
4	Medical Microbiology (Medical / NonMedical)	For Medical ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Medical Microbiology/ Microbiology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution after obtaining the degree of MD. For Non-Medical ESSENTIAL a. Master’s degree (regular course – UGC recognized / equivalent) viz. M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Clinical Microbiology. b. Ph.D. in the concerned discipline/subject of an Indian University/Institute or its equivalent Ph.D. degree from a foreign University recognized by the University Grants Commission. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching and/or research experience in the discipline/subject concerned after obtaining the Ph.D. Degree.
5	Obst. & Gynae.	ESSENTIAL: a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD/MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE: 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.
6	Orthopaedics	ESSENTIAL: a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MS (Orthopaedics) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE: 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the degree of MS.
7	Paediatrics	ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 3 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD Pediatrics of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of an India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE: 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after the qualifying degree of MD.
8	Radio-diagnosis	ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Radiology) (before bifurcation)/MD. Radio-diagnosis/MD Radio-diagnosis & Imaging of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.
9	Radiotherapy	ESSENTIAL a. A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.). b. A Postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Radiotherapy) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post. c. The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI. EXPERIENCE 3 years teaching and research experience in a recognized Institution in the subject of specialty after obtaining the qualifying degree of MD.

How to Apply

The candidates applying for the post(s) in response to this advertisement should satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the aforementioned posts(s) and must fulfill all the eligibility criteria on or before 08.12.2023 failing which their application will be rejected.

2. The aspiring applicants satisfying the eligibility criteria in all respect can visit the website at www.pgimer.edu.in for generation of challan form and application form. The candidates will first fill (i) Advt. No. (ii) Post Code Number, (iii) category and (iv) date of birth on the website and then take a printout of the application form and challan. The application form is to be filled in
   BLOCK LETTERS.
3. The candidates should fill his/her application form available on the PGIMER website. He/She should fill all the fields of the form. No fields should be left blank. After filling application form the candidate should deposit the application fee through challan form (Triplicate) in any branch of SBI.
